Our Christmas Jumper Story

Cheesy christmas jumpers offer exactly that, jumpers that are cheesy for the festive season. We design, produce and sell sweatshirts and knitted jumpers to the UK and Irish market including Rudolph the red nosed Reindeer, Dopey Dasher the Reindeer, Santa’s list, winter Wonderland knitted christmas jumper and the flashing LED light-up Christmas tree jumper.
Not since the 1980s has the Christmas jumper trend been so big and the last few years has seen the Christmas jumper become the festive fashion trend. The latest UK trend of the ugly Christmas jumper party, makes the search for the most outlandish Christmas jumpers more popular than ever and with the internet as everybody’s shop window, the search is on.
Cheesy’s founders Paul and Mark Everett, father and son, started the Yorkshire based company in late 2009 after Paul announced his ‘light bulb’ moment, to start designing and producing an affordable Christmas jumper range which could be sold via ebay. The company has since grown year on year and is now offering a wide range of in house UK made products along side imported knitted garments all sold online via a brand new, easy to use website.

All designs are exclusive to the 'Cheesy Christmas Jumpers' brand and are the brain child of co founder Mark Everett. Mark works all year round brainstorming and finalising the forthcoming festive season’s collection. He has a passion for Christmas jumpers, sweaters and festive garments and his dedication shows through in all his endeavours including the innovative website which he has created, written and even modelled for, however his true goal is to bring fun and festivities to households by offering affordable cheesy and ugly garments that can be worn by men, women and children of all ages.

Year on year it's Mark's aim to design and produce the ULTIMATE Christmas jumper/sweater and taking inspiration from the latest fashion trends, adding a touch of Cheesy flare, a lot of hard work and using the latest technology, he hope this can be achived.

Cheesy's line of festive garments caters for all price ranges, tastes and ages.
Starting with the affordable Christmas Sweatshirt suitable for all the family. The original business model inspired this range and the 'Rudolf' design remains our bestseller. This range is produced in house to order. Meaning we do not need to hold large amounts of stock and thus gives us a competitive edge. Produced in sizes from kids up to adults, these garments can be bought for all the family given the ultimate cheesy family Christmas look!
The mid-range line of our knitted jumpers gives you the more traditional Christmas jumper look with our Cheesy twist. We believe that all Christmas Jumpers should be in bright outlandish colours and our range of bright red's, blue's and green's will certainly do that. We have carefully designed these garments with the Christmas colour theme in mind and have chosen the correct shades of each colour to help create the luxury Christmas look. Knitted using 85% acrylic and 15% wool blend, creating a soft feel and long lasting jumper.
Our more premium product is unique to the Cheesy brand. It is designed in house but manufactured in China. This festive knitted Christmas tree jumper features diamante baubles, embroidered stars and small LED lights embedded into the garment. During the day the natural light reflects off the baubles. Night-time is when this Christmas jumper comes to life! The unique lighting system, is discreetly hidden and easy to activate whilst wearing.
